A new edition of the equestrian version of the Emperor’s Route will begin at 10 a.m. of February 9th
Are your horse ready? And you, too? You have a date with the Emperor Charles V next Saturday, February 9th at 10 a.m., in the castle of the Counts of Oropesa de Jarandilla de la Vera!
The Emperor’s Route falls you in love —for the festive atmosphere you can breath, for the landscape, for the different activities … —, and also its equestrian version, which will be held this Saturday, February 9th.
From nine o’clock in the morning, you’ll have the possibility to obtain your the traditional Carolino Passport in the House of Culture of Jarandilla de la Vera. Then, you’ll have time to prepare you for breakfast, also in the house of culture and, after that, attend the delivery of the imperial flags and departure of the riders to travel the Emperor’s Route.
Ahead, the same route as in the version for hikers through Aldeanueva de la Vera and Cuacos de Yuste, and finishing in the monastery, where the attendees will be received and blessed by the prior of the order ‘San Pablo Primer Eremita’.
To conclude the day, there will be an appetizer for riders and amazons participating in the Cuacos de Yuste football field; and we will proceed to the draw of a trip to Ghent and a basket of typical products.
And to enjoy fully this journey, you can come to the route dressed as a rider and amazon of XVI century!
